Sweet Peas and Cherries, oil, 8 x 6, $125.
I think I was in recovery mode from LG and what with Mercury Retrograde and the heat, it’s been hard to do much. I thought I’d jumpstart myself with something small and easy. These sweet peas were $1 at the Santa Monica farmers market. Purple in light is actually quite a challenge–so much for the easy part. It all has a sort of 4th of July feeling to it–red, white and bluish, fireworks of color.
